This week ITV Anglia released a three part series on the work of special schools in our region. The report particularly focuses in on Norfolk where specialist schools are outshining mainstream in all Ofsted inspections. The question is being asked whether there is still a place for special education and whether we're making enough provision for the future.
One of our Specialist schools, Eaton Hall Specialist Academy (EHSA), features in the 3 part series. This really does showcase the great milestones that EHSA has achieved in the past and the strides it is taking towards securing it's future as one of the leading specialist schools in the region.
Stalham Academy, one of the Trust's other Academies, also features in part 2 of the series. The Academy recently obtained a rating of Good in their most recent Ofsted inspection. The rating shows the ability of mainstream schools, in particular an Academy that has come so far since converting just over 2 years ago.
